Portrait of a Campus CampaignWPIRG, University of Waterloo
Conceived from start to finish for the Waterloo Public Interest Research Group’s probe into mental health on the University of Waterloo campus, this highly visual, socially-engaged campaign involved exhaustive interviews, photo-portraiture, print design, web design and more. The results of nearly 50 interviews with undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, faculty and staff were ephemeral street-art-inspired (using wheat-pasting technique) large-format print banners displayed across the campus. The conversations stirred by this creative intervention were far-reaching and palpable, raising the attention of the student union, student press, online and social forums, and beyond.
